Double Your Creative Choices with the Leaded Stained Glass Artistry Course

I can’t forget it. It was an orange octopus. Thick lines, thin lines, swirling turquoise water. And a vivid blue sky.

It was the very first time I’d seen one of my students quite so fired up and excited. Lori had become a tiny bit jaded with her copper foil skills and was lacking motivation.

Then she learned how to use lead came and the ideas came rushing in. She had both techniques at her fingertips and didn’t have to choose. The best of both worlds opened out to her.

The orange octopus was the end result; a creative mix of lead came, copper foil and a great big dollop of colourful creativity. It was a heady combination.

The Leaded Stained Glass Artistry course offers you the exact same opportunity. Full of professional tips and tricks, this complete step-by-step lead came starter project gives you the chance to expand your skills and watch your creativity flourish.
You'll be fired with enthusiasm and ready to set your artistry free.

Why Did I Develop The Leaded Stained Glass Artistry Course?

My biggest love is that moment when my students realise they can tackle anything in stained glass with confidence. It's liberating!

Often this happens when they learn leaded stained glass. Suddenly they have all the techniques at their fingertips and are free to mix and match to their heart's content.

I realised recently that some of you don’t get the opportunity to learn the lead came method. That's when I developed this step-by-step class. It was designed to add to your copper foil skills and to give you a whole new set of possibilities.

I’m totally at home with leaded stained glass. I was trained in the technique many years back and use it all the time in my own practice. I love how you can build a window with gorgeous clean lines really quickly.
I've taught it to hundreds of people - both online and face to face. Seeing them fired up and buzzing with ideas is the best reward. That's what I want for you and why I devised the Leaded Stained Glass Artistry course.

Who IS The Course For?

leaded stained glass artistry course

Who IS Leaded Stained Glass Artistry For?
  • The course is designed for those who want to expand their stained glass repertoire by learning the lead came method. Both complete "lead came newbies" and advanced beginners have found it very helpful.
Students also use it as a refresher to improve rusty skills

  • The course is self-study so you need to be the sort of person who is motivated enough to check in and follow along. All the answers to your questions will be in the course but you will need to log in, watch it, read it and practise!

  • Stained glass is a very special craft. You need to have the spirit to try something new, a patient outlook and be willing to practise accuracy. The best stained glass is made by those who practise and improve their accuracy.
Who ISN'T Leaded Stained Glass Artistry For?
  • This class isn’t for you if you are 100% happy with your lead came skills. It is aimed at those looking to progress and improve.

  • The course is not suitable for you if you’ve never cut glass to a pattern before. My 'Stained Glass Made Perfect' course will teach you these cutting skills.

  • If you have done some stained glass already and have fixed views about how things should be done this course may not be for you. We improve by embracing different ways of doing the same thing and choosing the best one for you.
  • This course does not teach the Copper Foil method of construction. This course concentrates on the Lead Came method of construction.
  • Finally, this is an online course. If you feel you are the sort of person who needs direct face to face tuition then I would urge you to look for a local course initially. You will always be welcome to come back here later when you want to refresh or develop your skills.
